Aims and Scope

The Journal (abbreviated as Hort. Res. J.) will be published regularly by the Horticulture Research Institute which has been established in 1971 and is affiliated with the A.R.C. Journal of the Horticulture Research Journal is concerned with applied agriculture sciences, a peer-reviewed journal interdisciplinary activity. The journal aims to make significant assistance to applied research for improving agricultural processes and focus on research that supports horticultural knowledge through the publication of original, high-quality research articles (one volume and two parts yearly) in the following areas: 

  • Production, breeding and quality improvement of various fruit and vegetable crops.
  • Botanical gardens and ornamental plants.
  • Postharvest technology of horticultural products.
  • Timber trees, forestry and wood technology.
  • The Flora and Phyto Taxonomy Researches.
  • Medicinal and aromatic plants.
